recording would not work for me as i usually need to interpret what is said and put in my own words. i have typed so much that my hand is now very weak and would fatigue very quickly, plus i also could not read it.

i frequently jot down numbers while at work for call backs and such and cant read them even 2 minutes later.

I've noticed this too. Use it or lose it, I suppose.

Though this conversation has seemed to digress, you guys make very interesting points. I thought that the tablet idea seems good, but how much would something like that cost. If it wasn't to expensive it would work out perfectly.

Well, newegg probably has it, if it exists. If you can't think of the name of the device, perhaps someone here on PC does or go to some techno-nerd forum and I'm sure someone can tell you all about the things.

Does anybody know if there such thing as a pen that doesn't write in ink, but that you can hook up to a computer and it records your penstrokes in a document. I know there is a program that recognizes handwriting on macs and I really want to see it in action.

I think that most tablet PCs have this functionality, have you googled around?

I think that I might have said something that I didn't mean to say. I have a macbook and it doesn't have multi-touch on the trackpad.
