I'm sorry to hear that. Hope you're not dwelling too much on it. Things will improve

That, and a remote control with a Mute button

    Oh so true

I would want the Psycho Killer function to be easily turned off. Like the movie robot AMEE in Red Planet

    Yes, I LIKE Psycho Killers

That's ok, just keep that emergency shutdown key fob thing close at hand. The sex would probably be great with the psycho option.

I'm sure it would be trivial to add that to the emergency shutdown fob, so that you wouldn't need to have two separate remotes.

I like virtually everything David Byrne has done, although some of his stuff is an acquired taste.

ah daniel, not true. u missed the movie that had ummm...Melanie Griffiths?? in it she was a cyborg programmed to be the "perfect" wife. something went wrong (hardware failure, software glitch, etc ) and he had to upgrade to new model, but he was too in love with the old model.

wish i could remember the movie. came out in the early 80's or so??

    **edit**
movie: Cherry 2000 released 1988...umm well released in Europe, US release was straight to DVD (vhs or what ever was available then)... i thought the movie was ok... for a guy anyway

To hell with the robot, I've known several guys who had that happen in real life

It usually gets ugly, what with the divorce and what-not

This clip pretty much tells it all, but do NOT play it at work or in front of the kids. Lots of naughty words

[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zV-RbmLc3Ss"]YouTube - marriage described through horse race, not for kids[/ame]

    and very true

If they can name a horse "Mine That Bird", will it be long before they name a horse "I F#*%ed Your Brother"? If they do, I'm going to suspend my rule against gambling and bet $2 on it.

You can never win with mortgaged up the nice person: it's not really your place, and it's mostly for show. I'd go with show.

Better than a sex robot. If they can teach it to fold fitted sheets, I'm getting one.

Very impressive. Standing there, holding up a towel and staring at it, reminds me of myself when I'm trying to sort out a pair of underwear in the morning. It takes me six tries to get it right, even though there are only four possible permutations.
