Corporate standards specify that IE is our default browser. I bucked that system as long as I could.

The problem is that I just can't seem to change it back. Either IE is not as aggressive in wanting to be default or Ff is so stubborn that it will not let go.

Ff is set up that it doesn't check to see if it's the default.
IE is set up always check to see if it's the default.
Folder Options show that HTMs and HTMLs launch in IE.

Still, most stuff launches into Firefox.

    What am I missing?

ps, there's a reason I made Ff the default in the first place so don't think that I want to change back.

Here, we have a saying... screw corporate standards :p

Our standards say that IE is the default browser as well, and in fact we code specifically for IE (don't ask me why, i wish it weren't so) and actually have an error page that comes up if you try to access the site using anything else.

And yet almost all the developers have Firefox setup as their default browser.
