Techstream: Engine Run Permition: PROHIBT

    Yes, that is how it is spelled.

    2003 Prius named Sally
    265k Miles.
    Just cleared code P0446 after replacing the gas cap- now shows no current codes but I am testing her parked, ignition on but not started.

    Techstream 9 has told me that Engine Run Permition is in a state of PROHIBT. Is this just because the ignition is turned to on with the gas motor not yet started? I think that I recall seeing the same thing while I was running the motor.

    Should I chalk this up to an obsolete install of Techstream, operated by an amateur, running on an ancient laptop to test an elderly car, or is it actually indicating something interesting?
