    I thought there 8 fires from this particular bug, so there can't be many videos
    GM recalling 370,000 trucks over fire risk - Jan. 10, 2014


    Agree though that there are hundreds of gasoline car fires. GM's stock went down when the news came out like teslas. It wasn't as big of a percentage loss, because its a much less volitile stock.;)
    On the coverage we would like to pretend reporters aren't political but....
    Tesla has a lot of short interest that have lost a great deal of money by betting against the company. These folks have blogs and plant a great deal of negative information. We have the auto dealers that do have a great deal of power, and even a pro-big oil anti-plug-in auto dealer (chevy, cadilac, hyundai) congressman Mike Kelly who's hits the talk show circuit against plug-ins (mainly anti-volt). Anything these folks can do to exagerate fire danger they do.
