    Ugh, bicycle riders that feel they are exempt from traffic regulations just irk me. I honestly want to share the road with them, but that portion makes it difficult.

    Having been buzzed several times by motorcycles on the highway, I don't think loud bikes provide much warning to other drivers.

    Actually, there are. At least training and certification. Enroll in a Course - Bicycle Alliance of Minnesota
    But your point is well taken. At this point, afaik, it is all voluntary and not as widespread as it should be.

    i was driving down the road one day, two bicyclers ahead of me. 30mph road, they are on the right side doing 15-20. no traffic coming toward me so i start to pass. the lead bike makes a hard left in front of me with no signal. i slam on the brakes and yell out, 'you're taking your life in your hands not signaling!' she yelled back 'f off!'
    i have too many unfortunate stories. i'm just very careful around them, cause i don't want to hit anyone, or have to defend myself in court. you never know how that will turn out.
