    It's AEB btw (Autonomous Emergency Braking).

    MB's system (PRE-Safe) uses radar to detect objects. (I can't remember if it uses cameras as well. One would assume the S-Class would but not the lower models). It can adjust the headrests and close the windows (in addition to tightening the seatbelts like any other AEB system).

    More advanced systems like the A-PCS in the LS can stiffen up the front suspension (if equipped with air suspension), lower the steering ratio (if equipped with Variable Gear Ratio Steering) and if AEB is activated, can avoid the object (But still try and stay within the lane... I believe the Model S/X have some form of this feature)

    Autopilot is only for divided highways, sounds like Mr. Laguna Beach was using it outside of its designed parameters.

    took the Chrysler plugin for a test ... MAN!
    Self adjusting headrests? well yea - ... & lane assist - adaptive CC, auto E braking, ac & heated/ventilated leather all the way back to 3rd row, lumbar support 360° view via the MFD ... AND over 30 ev miles? Now i get why it's pricy. You get a lot.

    Yeah that is very luxurious and well equipped. But in Canada, it's still a $58,000 minivan (plus up to $2,000 PDI and add 5-15% sales tax). Ontario nets you $14,000 but other provinces, it's gonna sting.

    Edit: I see there's a $53,000 Touring Plus version now. (The Limited is $58,000)

    Here's another model 3 review - of a different kind . Cost for material & labor, to estimate possible profit;
    Musk’s Favorite Analysis of Model 3 Says Material Cost is $18K

    I'd love to see the breakdown of the Prius Prime in this fashion. Always fun to know what it cost minus - R&D.

    These are both not Model 3 but...
    - the idiot kid in the video AP abuse - this is a whole new level of idiot... | Tesla Motors Club decides to eat In-N-Out burger while using Autopilot on the freeway in So Cal. I haven't watched the whole video but to take the cake, it's not even his car! He rented it!
