    Oh, it's been a riveting story so far and I hope they have many more chapters to tell.

    Another thing about Tesla as a car manufacturer, they have all their marbles in one basket, electric cars. All the other big names it is just a sideline and an pain in their butt. They would just like to continue their Status Quo chugging along like they always have but they can't now.

    they can (some are) but they have to be cognizant of many factors potentially converging toward a renewable future. the when is the question in my mind, and i think a lot of mfgs are playing that game.

    Looks like Tesla was trying to catch up today. I saw at least 15-16 being transferred to and from various car carriers, about 1 1/2 miles from the repair facility.

    Dense? yes, only the dense would buy chinese cars, much less a Chinese EV .... although not as horrible as they used to be, these suckers get crushed like old beer cans in an accident. Watching some of the car crashes is horrific;

    Notice how the BYD below looks like a Toyota Corolla?

    If you can't innovate - i guess you just copy.
    i guess - but there are space x marbles - solar panel marbles, boring company marbles, battery backup marbles too.

    Interesting! I’d have guessed, in terms of world-wide figures, it would be BYD.

    Has it occurred to anyone that a hybrid manufacturer like Toyota has done the calculations for BEVs and knows that the market is limited and with range anxiety and lack of charging infrastructure and the BIG variable (the cost of electricity, which is volatile commodity), that BEVs are but a stepping point to other technology that is superior and more cost effective overall? BEVs are so 2018.

    With advances in hydrogen micro generation units, and the ever promising Mr. Fusion on the horizon, Elon and his crew will be eating freeze dried Alpo in just a few years ... de Rivas Transportation (dRT) is now setting up shop in an abandoned dynamite factory in an undisclosed location. dRT is the future. My advice: short Tesla, go long on dRT.

    The Unabomber also knew how to keep attention. That Musk fellow is strange. He understands physics, but seems to have a poor grasp of economics and accounting.

    We all excel at something. It's just that there is little return on the excellent ability to watch TV.

    Easier said than done, but I get the concept ;).

    I’m trying to find something that will afford the ability to retire at 55 comfortably and not be too intrusive into daily life.

    So far so good(y).
