Libby's pumpkin pies, which my kids have always preferred, done. Simple, neat cranberry sauce on the boil. Everything else is in other's able hands. Family all here is the secret ingredient that makes it all good.

Change of plan. High daytime temp today being 11F with gusty wind making it windchill of -8F. I am not going to spend time outside to smoke turkey for diner. We'll do that some other time.

We haven’t eaten yet and have a 1.5 hour drive home with the kids.

It was too damn cold to smoke whole turkey on the Thanksgiving day. Today's temp in low 30 is perfect for cold smoking nova lox.
