    What struck me about starwars was that gravity had no idea what angle it was going to act at. Standing in a bay of the deathstar facing out into space but flying a X wing fighter across the surface as if there was gravity pulling the fighters toward the centre, i'm confused.

    Apparently, gravity is negated by sufficiently bad acting. Maybe if they got enough really bad actors together, they could build an anti-gravity machine.
