I've seen the acronym ICE used in two ways in context of a Prius plug in and I think there's a third way. The first is In Car Entertainment. The second is when a regular car park in a electric vehicle spot, the spot is on ICE or ICE'd (Internal Combustion Engines).

What is the ICE in context of this forum? I've seen it used in ways other than the above. Does it also mean Internal Combustion Engine?

I believe there is a grand total of one thread in the PPHV forum where ICE = In Car Entertainment. In part because it's not really descriptive enough, as the audio/nav/entertainment systems are different between the base and advanced models.

ICEd is that cold angry feeling you get when you want to charge but some lame SUV is parked in an EV spot because the obese bastard didn't want to walk.

I find the offenders now are more often "hipsters" with car2go smart cars that don't seem to be able to differentiate between the car2go signage and the EV signage. :)

LOL at least they have a reason to not want to walk. If I saw an in shape guy bounce out of his ride with running shoes and take off, then I would really he annoyed.

It's ironic that ICE is the gas engine because it's RED on the MID ;-)
