How do we know that these books are free from error?

Ah, yes, my favorite argument.

Me: "How do you know God exists?"

Them: "It says so in the Bible!"

Me: "How do you know the Bible is accurate?"

Them: "It was written by God!"

Well, this post is written by God, and it has to be accurate, because it WAS written by God, and you know it was written by God, because God says it was.
