    we were driving mostly piston engine cars then, as we are now. the refinements are nice, but surprisingly small for 100 years.

    i especially like the 1919 brisco model b touring ;)

    You can credit the fossil fuel industry and their lobbyists for the relative longevity of the piston engine. With the advent of the BEV, the game has now changed. The piston engine is a dead technology walking. After 100 years of stagnation in personal transportation, change and disruption is happening quickly, we have to change or our planet and its inhabitants are seriously threatened. I believe there is going to be even greater advancement in vehicular transportation within the next 10 years that will make the current crop of BEVs obsolete. Adapt or die.
