Just got back from the dealership and there’s no room in the garage for our new acquisition: CE375FF6-67B2-4144-AA67-5AEBC5E2EF59.jpeg

So for now it’s getting parked outside;):

    D659387D-FC9B-45B3-A43B-38FCB9D07749.jpeg A5729573-2B17-4C2A-9B28-A5EBBD1AC030.jpeg

In a couple of weeks the 2010 will have a new owner. Just have to perform a 2 cycle reconditioning on the battery and it’s ready:).

83.6 mpg on the way home from the dealer with a 2/3 charged battery ain’t too bad to start out(y).

It definitely has more pep than our 2010 and full electric mode for the 17 miles it lasted was great:).

Now to read all 6 booklets and probably 780+ pages(y).

I still have not read all, but have pdf open all the time on my PC screen for a quick ref. I wish the pdf version can be browsed on the 11.6 screen with quick search capability.

Congrats!!! Yeah hybrid mode is really efficient even if you don’t blend it with the EV drive. I drove round trip to downtown once in HV mode because I ran out of charge - 63-64mpg!!

Once I recondition the battery, it’ll get demoted:).

Plus the spot I have in the pic is just at the reach of the charging cord and I’d rather not continually stretch it out ;).

@The Critic just completely detailed the 2010, so I’m keeping her inside to make that last while the pollen is out and about(y).

Good to know. This is a much better car than our 2010;).

I bet you’d agree with that same statement :).

But 63 mpg in HV driving is great too(y).

In the couple years we’ve had ours, I confess I don’t have much of a sense of what sort of mileage it gets around town in pure-HV, because I pretty much only drive it in EV around town.

Out on the highway though, at 55-60MPH, I’ve seen around 60MPG. However, it seems plummet pretty rapidly at faster speeds: At 75MPH, I typically see a little under 50MPG.

Nevertheless, when I have driven it in-town in hybrid mode, I’ve been pretty impressed at how often the engine is off!

    Thanks:).

@The Critic and I will be putting her up on the lift soon enough and will deep dive some stuff;).

But we’ll be able to help @Salamander_King with the front lift point if nothing else(y).

Cause my work schedule is packed and even vacation this year will be challenging .

But the wife gets $3k off from her employer, so my cost is similar and I got it for under $26k before tax and fees:).

So not too bad all things considered (y).
