    Why? The motors were cooled in the transaxle fluid for 5 K ,miles, were they not? And the gears were turning against each other in that fluid too.

    That fluid sees usage when the engine is not running. Or did you mean oil change instead of transaxle fluid?

    But the trans axle fluid is supposedly lifetime :cool:.

    I won’t put too much stock in that claim(y).

    I know otherwise too;).

    I’ve seen plenty of trans fluid at 100k miles and further and let’s just say the fluid didn’t look or smell factory fresh:oops:.

    But to each their own. I changed the wife’s front and rear axle fluids around 6k miles and it was already purple :cool:.

    So just visually there is benefit let alone if you paid to have analysis done(y).

    After drinking “a couple” of glasses, it doesn’t smell like old ATF WS;).

    Taste I can’t speak to:p.

    But of the 6 liters, we started with, there is only 1 liter left:).

    Basically saw what I wanted to see. Would have loved to have had a half hour or more to check out details, but I think I'd have had to pay shop rates for that. LOL!

    Thanks. Not sure in general what I'd want to see. But since this car went through 1-1/2 New Jersey winters, I'd have like to look for hidden rust. The visible metal had surprisingly little rust. (Except for the hatch handle that's been thoroughly discussed elsewhere.)

    That said, I'm eager to see your pictures of the naked bottom of your car. Just the car, please!! :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
