    After helping my wife in the garden for Mother's Day, she said I could go play in the garage until dinner. ;)

    Got everything up in the air again. Next weekend I'll finish moving the body off of the chassis so I can start stripping paint and making additional mods.

    I'd say I used the time well.

    Finally got out in the garage today. (Long story.) Body is back off of the chassis so I can start the final prep for mods and welding.

    I made the cut-out in the Firebird firewall larger today so that I would have more room for thr ductwork under the windshield. The A/C ducting will be a bit chaotic under the dash as it is, so I wanted as much room to work as possible. There's also a lot of electronics that needs to go under there...

    One side benefit is that the three inch deep glove box will now be much, much deeper!

    If it's a Gen 3 Prius, you need lots of storage space. Will there be an upper & lower glove box? :D

    The "sled" is a 2014 Prius v. The interior will look like a stock 1967 Firebird, but the glove box AND console box will both be deeper due to the double firewall and floor in those respective areas.

    You could sell the patent for the bigger glovebox to TOYOTA - they forgot how to make one when it came to Gen4's pathetic "glove" box.

    It won't fit a full pair of gloves if the owner's manuals are in.
