Yep. Dinner consisted of a Panera 'everything' bagel and cream cheese, maple barbecue potato chips (ym) and pomegranite juice. It hit the spot.

The next poster got a wedding invitation today from a couple of love birds who got engaged on 7/7/7.

Nope... I'd actually like another day or two of steady rain, here...

[Woohoo---Mad Hatter! I'm glad I got your avatar right!]

[Edit--damn, wrong post to reply to, yet again. Gotta get a handle on this!! So, No, I didn't get a wedding invite today; been to two this summer already, however.]

The next poster took last Friday off, and this morning is now regretting their decision not to include Monday in that leave request!

I normally have Mondays off (and work 4 10-hour days for the rest of the week), but my boss is out this week so I'm here today to cover for him. At least I'm getting overtime for it.

The next poster sometimes has to stop and think to come up with something for the next poster to do.

Well, of course. It's not like I keep a list of 'next poster' ideas.

The next poster is the designated plant-waterer in their house.

Right now I'm not, but I know when the newness wears off from our newly planted patio, I will be.

The next poster had a Japanese man flinging food at them last night from a teppan.

No, but I did have sushi tonite, which is probably as close as I can get, otherwise.

The next poster laughed out loud many times during the Simpsons movie.

    No. Haven't seen it.

Next poster got their car serviced today. And paint touched up for free at the dealer! Neill Sandler rocks.

No, but the Pri is nearing her first service date.

The next poster moved all of their possessions to the basement and a U-haul truck today so their 65-year-old floors can get "touched up" like AuntBee's Pri. (wish mine was free!)

Nope, my possessions are staying put until my tour here in Benin is up in another year and a half or so. In the meantime the exterior paint of my house is getting a touch-up, after the nearly-new paintjob mostly washed off the exterior of the house during the rainy season (that's what you get when you paint a house with low-quality water-based paint just before the start of the rainy season).

The next poster is enjoying their boss being gone on vacation so that they can actually get some work done with the peace and quiet.

Close, that was last week, and did I ever get a lot of quality work done - she's not bad, but the silence was golden.

as a nod to Red, The next poster is getting their carpets done today - the new kitchen floor is slated (pun intended) for mid-Sept.

Nope, no carpets here. Just lotsa wood.

The next poster wants to go back to 1979 and hang a left this time.

Hmmm... I don't think so. While I did not really enjoy jr. high all that much, taking a different turn there would presumably alter my current life, and among all the other things I really like today, but would potentially lose in the deal, is my Prius! ;)

The next poster is fighting the urge to run next door for 2 fresh chocolate chip cookies...

Only two? Such restraint! Choc chippies would have been great but actually treated myself to a small, lowfat banana homemade hot fudge sundae. Yum.

The next poster is sad that the dead zone has returned to the Oregon Coast for the 6th year running.

Yes, it's tragic, I was saddened by the news.

The next poster is cramming for a presentation to be made in person, a flight away and early in the AM.

    No, thank goodness!

The next poster got a phone call (according to their caller I.D.) from a sister they haven't heard from in 4 years (very scary).

Yes and No---Glad for YOU and her, but I have no wife, myself.

The next poster is looking forward to the weekend, for a little photo-safari type outing around town.

Nope. Unfortunately for me, it looks like I will be a very busy monkey for the entire summer. Looks like we're tearing off and re-roofing, re-doing the entire electrical system, tearing out and replaceing the bathroom floor (dry-rot), and enlarging and remodeling said bathroom. I am happy and sad - stuff will be done but I miss my free time already.

The next poster needs to find their boss and then convince them to let them go home 2 hour early.

There's still work to do, boss or no boss.

The next poster assumes this game is a form of psychological projection that reveals inner truths.

Yes... but I think astral projection would be even more fun.

The next poster thinks it would be cool to have a "super" power.
