Does an older sister count? Got a phone call at the office Wednesday from a sister I haven't seen or heard from in over 4 yrs. She wants to meet me for lunch this Saturday. I'm kind of scared.

The next poster bought a USB turntable to convert their vinyl to CD.

 

No, but that's intriguing! I may have to recommend that to the DH and get all those musty fusty boxes out of the basement.

After a summer of disenchantment, the next poster likes where they live again.

 

Close. I'm dubbing my 8-tracks direct to cassettes, then I'll digitize on my Commodore 64 before I put them on CD. After that I figure I'll burn those CDs to my friend's Dell so I can upload directly to that i thingey.

Nope.

Don't drink much. Never did. And don't drink at all now that I'm on meds (high blood pressure, acid reflux, cholesterol) plus I'm a teacher and could lose my teaching credential if I EVER get convicted of DUI. So take no chances. I find I don't need it to have a good time and don't like the taste much so don't miss it.

No... probably not baking anything today, but sure would like some of your quiche and cake Godiva! My mom used to make lemon ice box pie and it was heavenly.

Well, no. I'm lucky in that I have recipes from relatives who have passed. Lucky for me my Mom has them and is passing them on. We even post the best of the best.
