The Prius v wagon is hitting the road, possibly stopping in a town near you

    Toyota is taking the Prius v out on the road and they want you to come by and check it out for yourself. There won't be any test drives available, but you'll be able to poke around the car and check out those sweet reclining rear seats, as well as seeing how many bodies flowers you can fit in the expanded cargo area. Many locations and dates are listed below, but some of the cities do not have designated venues yet, so keep an eye on the forum thread below to stay up-to-date on the latest information from Toyota's Prius Team.     Maybe it has something to do with proximity to the manufacturing facility there? I realize that's not where they make Prius, but...

    Don't worry, we'll spread the love. However, this time of year isn't so favorable for outdoor events in the Midwest and East coast. Unless you want to see how the Prius v looks under a pile of snow.

    Thanks Doug. This may be the first time I ever go the the Javitz Center auto show in in Manhattan this year. I'm sure the V will be there.

    Yes, what are the timings ? I'll be there in Lynnwood, wa. Incidentally close to where Volt test drives were.

    BTW, are there test drives as well ? At least can we sit in the car ... not a roped off event.

    Cool, as I won't be at the Chi Auto Show. I will mark my calendar for Retail Location on March 31st then. Glad I have the day off to take a look see.

    I wonder if these locations are a reflection of Prius sales and popularity. I don't understand why Southern California doesn't have an event in the Orange County or San Diego area. There are BILLIONS of Prii down here in SoCal !!! There is an event in Los Angeles though. I guess I'll have to drive up to Los Angeles and load the atmosphere up with emissions, sitting in the parking lot highways of Los Angeles. :(

    For Los Angeles, it says "retail location." (a dealership)
    I thought they were going to rent out the Staples Center or the Colosseum for this event, but I guess not. ;)

    Retail Location = a dealership? Not necessarily . . . . but even worse, there's only THREE DAYS LEFT & not a hint of WHERE in the Los Angeles area that actually is. Makes plannnig kinda tough. Oh well, I'm certain I can find it ... after all . . . L.A. County is ONLY 4,083 square miles.

    Agreed, they're kind of waiting till the last minute on the upcoming ones. I'm waiting to find out Jacksonville next week (I actually can't believe they're coming here!). And since I live by the beach, if they go to a "retail location" in far west Jacksonville, it's only... an hour and 15 minutes away! Some planning might be helpful here Toyota people!

    I see your point ... it could be at a different type of "retail" location, such as a shopping mall.

    Regarding the location, have you tried contacting your friends at Prius Team?
