I updated the list of sites to include the one in the Kansas City area next week. Still no info on the Chicago location, but I'll update everyone as soon as I have the location.

    Thanks Danny!

For anyone that was wondering, the "v" in "Prius v" stands for velociraptor. :eyebrows:

I hope this vehicle does really well / is affordable. 40 MPG is a huge improvement over 25 MPG which was par for 5 of 10 top selling US vehicles in 2009.

It was here in Honolulu at the auto show last weekend the 19th,20th,21st of March. It was on a platform in the display area not able to be test driven. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1301029768.079108.jpg Also in attendance from Toyota the Prius PEHV, Rav4 EV, and the other current hybrids.

Saw the V today. Not really impressed considering its only marginally bigger and gets 20% less gas mileage using the same drivetrain. Also only meets ULEV not AT-PZEV like standard prius. Going to pass on this one for sure.

Are you sure it is not SULEV?

Yes, that is what the Toyota rep told me. Seems odd since its uses the same drivetrain, perhaps to move away from the obligatory 10yr/250K warranty?

Prius v is SULEV. I'll let our folks now.

Chicago event is at Whole Foods on 1550 N. Kingsley St., Mar 31st to Apr 3.

A list of future cities is coming soon, with any luck!

Thanks for confirmation. All of the Toyota and Lexus hybrids are at least SULEV.

Thanks for the info but don't you mean 1550 N Kingsbury St?

Thanks, Doug! It is Kingsbury. That parking lot only holds 36 cars total (and its a busy store!). I don't see how in the world they'll have any room to set up a proper viewing.

EDIT: A block and a half north east, there is a very large parking lot at the Crate and Barrel. I'm going to try parking there.

At the one in the Seattle area, they occupied I'm guessing no more than 10 spaces or so to show the Prius v and allow space to park the regular Prius, HyCam and HyHi available for test drives.

However, it was at a shopping mall that had huge parking lot w/hundreds (if not more) spaces total.

    at least 1 more stop

    Currently on https://www.facebook.com/prius, there's
They have a link that leads to Toyota Farm to Table Tour. Full schedule at schedule | Toyota Farm to Table Tour. It's unclear if the locations after Aptos, CA will also have the Prius v on display.

    Any Golfers Taking a Look?

We'd love to get a Prius V if we can fit two (or, better yet, three) sets of clubs (with drivers) sideways in the back with the rear seat up. (At least I think we'd love it - our Sienna was our all-time favorite car but way bigger than we need.)

If any golfers are going to see the V, would you take your clubs and get a picture with the clubs installed in the back? I'd do it myself only Phoenix/Scottsdale is not on the list of cities to be visited.

    Thanks in advance.

I only currently see two May locations (IN and OR). I noticed an earlier rev (http://priuschat.com/node/885/revisions/view/939/964) had more like WA, NE, AR and others...

Any chance the PHV Priuses will be brought along and we'll get a chance to test drive them? At the Lynnwood, WA location earlier, there were no PHV Priuses...

Still no love for Houston, even though Gulf States is headquartered here?
