    This is one of the reasons I never, ever, ever agree to dealer add ons. Did I say ever? If necessary I will order a car from the factory first.

    Edited to add: well, sometimes. I did get the black applique for the center console and drink holder but only because I felt like it was a "must have". LOL

    Most cars nowadays have "alloy" wheels as standard. Even so, "Premium alloy" wheels are usually offered as a way to increase revenue for the manufacturer and dealer.

    I dislike the term alloy to describe aluminum wheels because all wheels are alloy, including steel. I'd much rather just refer to wheels as aluminum, magnesium, or steel. Sure, aluminum wheels aren't pure alluminum (because they are an alloy), but it's mostly alluminum, and we wouldn't confuse alluminum wheels with steel or magnesium.
