On that Pioneer head unit, are you able to angle it towards the driver more? I'm curious on your long term feedback of it before I drop 1k+ on a head unit upgrade. Right now I just use an old android phone in a ProClip vent mount.

Haha, true.. the plate actually started it’s life on a 1996 Bronco that I rebuilt and subsequently sold, glad it found another slow vehicle to be displayed on(y) The lithium pack looks rad, but I’m hoping the Prolong system breathes some fresh life into my battery pack - if the pack is beyond saving I’d definitely spring for one though, looks really cool. I’ve heard of Pulstar plugs for a while, never really looked into them, I’ll have to check them out, and I’ll have to look at the PlugOutPower info as well. Thanks for the links.

No doubt, it’s not a cheap headunit! I have one in my 4runner and love it. I tried the Alpine iLX-F309 (Halo 9) first on my Tacoma, and was a bit underwhelmed, but the Pioneer is awesome - much better screen clarity, wireless CarPlay and Android Auto, browser, lots of cool stuff. I’ve had the 4runner running the Pioneer for about 8 months now and I have zero regrets - I was almost glad to have the stock units touchscreen non responding, made for an easy justification to put one in the prius.

As per your question, I full heartedly relate to the concern. I can tell you as someone who has to have things a certain way, it is not bothering me in the slightest. It could be angled driver side with a spacer on one side of the screen bracket, but I don’t feel the need.

Didn’t get much done yesterday on the Prius, was busy doing other things in preparation for moving, but I did give it a quick wash and snapped a few pictures. Quickly beginning to look different from pickup day. Also thinking I might just pick up some plasti-dip and black out the rims until my enkei’s are ready for pickup..

Here are some pictures of the some of the LED bulb upgrades.

    And a few more..

Here are the fog lights, which are pretty damn cool. You can switch them from white to yellow by turning them on and off.

And here are the Husky Liner Weatherbeaters. I have Weathertech in both my tacoma and 4runner, and so far I’m VERY happy with the Husky Liners. I think the fit is a little better, and they are not so damn slippery when your shoe is wet! The real test will be to see how they clean up, as the weathertechs are very hard to get mud and dirt stains out of. I’ll also be curious how long the company sticker stays adhered, Weathertech logos are hit or miss, the ones on my tacoma have been good for about 2 years, the ones on my 4runner fell off after about 5 months.

I also dove into the bumper for a quick minute yesterday. Unfortunately the super saggy sides bracket has 3 completely failed clips, so I’ll need to replace that to have any hope of closing the gap.

Ran out to Home Depot this morning and grabbed a couple cans of plasti-dip and proceeded to have a little black out session. Messed up in a few areas due to wind ( CAN NOT WAIT TO MOVE, it is always windy where I am currently, makes little tasks like this near impossible). As mentioned above, I have enkei’s on the way, but for the time being I decided to slap a layer on the stock 17s for fun as well.
