The winshield I had replaced 2 months ago failed.

I can't agree with this more...can we say insurance fraud? So their glass failed and you submitted a new claim on your insurance. While they may not be able to raise your rates, they DO keep a record of your claims and will use that record down the line if you need something really big. Now they have you recorded lying to them, and insurance companies can and will inspect the glass after its removed in which case your lie will be obvious.

I understand your frustration but I think being a party to insurance fraud was a mistake.
