    Hi all again,

I'm pleased to report that a Japanese Prius driver, Kazu@Tochigi, achived 2,361 km/tank (1,467 miles)!!!
The computer mileage is 41.6 km/L, 97.9 mpg.

    The previous records were...
    1,460 miles/tank by Slipper@Osaka http://priuschat.com/index.php?showtopic=24054&hl=
    1,456 miles/tank by Teddy_Girl@Akita http://priuschat.com/index.php?showtopic=23380&hl=

Again, please note that Japanese Prius tank has no bladder and can hold up to 60 liters, 15.9 US gallons.

    Wow
Truly awesome. I await news when the magical 100 mpg by one driver goal is achieved.
Will this be around 42 km per liter?

Are these people pushing the Prius? Are they towing it with something? Have they added pedals? Seriously, how can they be achieving such incredibly high mileage?

It really would be fun to have a gas tank double the size... filling up once every 2 months instead of once a month.

I believe AT-PZEV Priuses - those sold in California and some New England states - have even smaller tanks than those sold in the US in general. I have such a vehicle.

All USA Prii have the same tank, same emissions rating, same everything except for region specific options packages and such.

Oh, can we just buy a Japanese tank and pop it in to our Prius. I think we need a few people to find a tank that will fit our car even if it is bigger, say 20 gallons U.S. :D Just kidding, I would not want to pay for the extra gas it would take just to carry the extra gas. I wouldn’t mind consistently seeing all 99's across my MFD though. :D

Pulse & Glide as well as lower speed limits. Tell that to the SUV driver tailgating.

All Prius in all US states are AT-PZEV with the same bladder tanks.
