This is crazy! 12V battery cable loose!

    This is freak me out.

    First, past few weeks 12V Battery warning lights lit up several times. But last Sunday warning was become frequent.

    So I decided to visit dealership but not I bought car from but same company. Since they are close for business on Monday they took care my car today and mean time they put me loaner.

    Today dealership service tech called me and told me battery cable is loose.
    That may cause battery failed warning light come on.
    Wait?
    What?
    From production line they forgot tighten battery cable?
    Service tech told me more than likely.

    Make me think what out they forgot tighten?

    Also they do not know why my brake lost air pressure. And they are checking as speaking.

    So my confident with Toyota is lost. I am very worry driving Toyota now.

    If you car building end of last summer check you battery cable just in case.

    I wouldn't lose confidence in them over something like that. I have had battery cables come loose on my cars before just from vibrations and driving over potholes and what not.

    Depends on where it was loose. The car is shipped with the 12v battery disconnected to prevent drain till it is put in service. A 'loose connection' could be a dealer prep issue and nothing to do with the factory production line.

    agree, a bit of an over reaction here. had you stated the air bags deployed for no reason i'd be with you.
    It happens, regardless of if it was a factory fault or dealer fault there are thousands of prii on the road, not every one is going to be 100% each time every time.
