    Been having this problem for months. Can't login from Firefox via Google. Have to use Chrome like now on a machine I don't use for social. Its my local Firefox security settings and policy's like https only and blocking tracking cookies, 3rd party ad redirects, and popups ect. O'Well

    yep, see my post in the website forum. frustrating, to say the least. seems they find time to merge threads and posts though.

    good one today, as i'm typing, the bubble pops up telling me there's a problem. i haven't even finished typing, never mind hitting enter.

    props to whoever fixed all the problems. it's perfect this morning. i hope it's not just the slow sunday traffic.(y)

    phooey! when i tried to post the above message, it took 23 seconds. jinxed myself.:mad:

    Yeah, I'm seeing a lot of database errors as well.

    Also, this site is rather JavaScript heavy, I wouldn't be surprised if the forum is popping up an error saying that the connection failed in some cases, because it didn't get a response back from the server. In any case, I don't think I've seen that except when on mobile, where I do sometimes have an unreliable connection, not PriusChat's problem.

    It's the unexpected database errors that are. I'm suspecting it's either running over a maximum connection limit, or something's timing out somewhere - I've never seen data loss on my own content caused by a database error here.

    the strange thing is, it just came out of the blue. no changes to the website that i could see. i don't think traffic is up.
    these kinds of things usually happen when danny is working on something, and he lets us know what's happening.

    Does this website have viruses?! There's so many Prius haters out there... so why not attack this website, too?

    The whole page will just suddenly disappear when trying to log-in; Or when clicking on a thread... Poof! Gone. Or when checking my "Alerts" in the drop-down box... Zap! Page just goes blank and I'm thrown out.

    I've never had odd problems like this on any other website! And while I'm typing this, that weird black box keeps popping up... Error! Error! Error! I use an iPad and sometimes my iPhone to read threads. They work fine everywhere else.

    And will someone PLEASE return my EDIT BUTTON?! :confused:

    Glad it's not just me. I've seen it a lot lately. My original thought was too much traffic overloading the hosting server, but that shouldn't be the case. Reloading wouldn't fix the page loading issue.

    This morning, accessing the site on a phone, at least 50% of requests to the site cause "unexpected database error...", with sometimes more than one retry required.

    Got two pop ups to that effect, just in the course of typing the above. And a third, trying to post. Fourth. Fifth.

    Posting timed out now.

    Tried many times to open site with Firefox today. No luck. Able to open site with Edge, finally, but took six minutes to be able to log-in. Now, trying to type is like trying to swim through corn syrup. Very frustrating. One error message when trying to log-in in with Edge was HTTP 500 error.
    This is very, very frustrating. Typing this message has taken more than three minutes. I will check back after the weekend. Good luck.
