Thoughts on this 2013 Toyota Prius 4 and if it's a good deal to purchase?

I wonder if the OP went with the purchase?

Trying NOT to sound snarky...but my only concern would be, if the simple idea of "maybe" buying and owning a Hybrid has you so nervous and angst filled?
Not sure owning a Hybrid is for you.
They do have more components to think about.
They do make more "odd" sounds occasionally.
Would ownership not be enjoyable because you'd always be waiting or expecting the other shoe to drop?

And I've always felt, that if you buy a Hybrid, you should really, really want a Hybrid. If you are indifferent about ownership of one? One way or the other, I kind of say...pass.

That being said, it's low miles, sounds like a descent deal. And I think a Prius is a great vehicle.

I disagree with the last half of this. I have had the expensive repair and I still love my Prius. My Prius and I are permanently a part of each other.

I know that sounds kind of strange, but it’s 100% true if you have a vested part in the big repair. If someone told me the day I bought mine that three months later I’d be pulling the engine, I’d still buy it.

Either way, it seems the OP passed on the Prius.
