The one thing that annoyed me with the Gen 3 was that it didn't display any messages on the MID other than "BRAKE!". Therefore, it's super easy to miss that your moonroof is opened (tilted up) because all it does is beep once when you turn off the car. It could've said "Moonroof Opened".

Looks like they forgot to clean the interior before putting it on display.

    nice write up, thanks!
'markets that cannot dispose of li-on batteries'. that's interesting, don't recall reading that before.

'rear seat passengers have a surprising amount of legroom, even with the front seats adjusted to a comfortable position'. this is welcome news.

Did they change something since Las Vegas & Frankfurt ?

Would be great if true !

"Rear seats fold flat to handle larger cargo. With the battery pack below the rear seats, the seat backs and cargo floor don’t quite line up, but the floor can be raised to create a flat load space .

The system has been created for the first time on the EU Auris HSD, that have already the HV under the rear seats. You're provided with two cargo floors, one very thin to cover the spare well, the other one 2/3 cm thick and rigid, that you can leave in the garage or seat on the thin one, or insert on the side plastic fitting that you can clearly see in the following pic at the right side; a slot is in there where you insert the hard cargo floor, so to get a flat loading space in line with the seat (folded).

This is the hard plywood 2nd cargo floor, but not inserted to have a flush surface but just seating on the LPG tank, to have the max height available. Of course the floor this way is not in line with the seat:

The speedometer is not in the center !
I have no idea why people complain about the way the instruments are lined up in the Prius !
It's absolutely ideal, even without a HUD,everything is right in line of sight .
Much easier and safer than having to look through a steering wheel .
The eyes stay there where they should .
    On the road !
I wish they would test the new headlights !
That guy from cleanmpg.com drove the new Prius at night time, but unfortunately never shared his experience.

They got several things wrong. She kept harping on "no lumbar" yet didn't realize that the prius 4 trim level (which she says she drove) includes lumbar in the power seat adjustments. And no there is no $22,000 version.

I'll continue to complain about the centre of dash instruments, Toyota continues to march to a different drummer on this.
