Anyone use one and how do they like it? Do they affect the fuel economy, any negatives? Thanks

I use the 9drive on amazon. It is great. It had a ev mode and race mode. I get good fuel economy in the highest setting with a intake and quantum solenoid track.

Love it, i got the Shiftpower for Hybridpit.com night and day difference. Its like a boost of power mode and more limp (slow acceleration) on eco more lol. MPG varied a lot depending on your driving style. You can decrease the MPG a lot on race mode or increase the MPG on eco mode

Not a scam. You can map the throttle to any setting that suits your liking, more aggressive for an easier tip-in (even more aggressive than the PWR mode, if you like) or a lighter tip-in (even more "ECO" than the ECO mode, which is what I prefer).

It certainly does those things, which may be just what you're looking for if that difference in response to your foot matters to you. Others may equally feel that just using their foot differently to accomplish the same thing is ok with them.

One difference other than the foot response curve is the way the factory ECO mode also changes HVAC behavior. So if you add one of these devices, you now have a way to get an "ECO" foot response curve that doesn't also affect HVAC, if that's something important to you. (Or, you could use the factory ECO mode and set this device for a PWR-like curve, the two curves would roughly cancel, and you could have an ECO HVAC mode with more of a 'normal' foot response.)

If selecting one of these devices, it can be worth trying to look up exactly what they do to the pedal response curve. They're not all created equal where that's concerned.

The three curve choices Toyota gives you are all first-order continuous and all extend from 0% to 100% power demand so there is no range of pedal travel wasted in any of the three modes.

As ➡this old post⬅ showed, that isn't necessarily the case for all the curve choices different aftermarket devices may offer!
