I don't know, Tony -- that has a ring to it. ("Prius: Disappointing suicides since 2001.")

(We'll save it for the 2006 shirt!)

Hey, I'd love that on the back of the shirt!

I personally like the car-shaped green leaf. It's such a unique symbol that only Prius owners (or passengers) would likely recognize. For others it would probably arouse curiosity.

Simplicity is best for a t-shirt, IMO. It's not only cheaper to make, but will also increase the longevity of the shirt.

I'm in. Whatever you all decide is great. I will definitely order and would be willing to pay more than it's worth to help defer some of the costs. Thanks for doing this!

Did you notice that green leaf logo is showing a series hybrid system? Gas to electricity, to wheels.

FWIW, on the T-shirt, would prefer to keep it simple... Ash is good or a natural green. Anything but White.
    Re: logos:
    A-2
    D-5.

I also would like to see a classy polo option, same color thoughts as above, design A-2.

I like the idea of the Prius in the shape of a green leaf on the back.
    white
    A - 6
    B - 9
    C - 3
    D - Prius shaped leaf
    E - nothing

If polo option ( I would get both)
    A - Prius shaped leaf
    B - 3
    C-E - nothing

We could so a small logo on the front (A & B). Then have a top ten list on the back such as Top ten reasons I drive a Prius/hybrid

I'd like an unbleached Hanes Beefy T.

    I love the T-shirt template.

I would suggest you forget the "E" area, it's just too low to be read, especially if anyone wants to tuck their shirt in their pants.

As for the logos, I'm fine with the Priuschat one as it's obviously original artwork. For the others, I'd like to know the sources and if they're copyrighted, public domain or original artwork from priuschat members with permission to use. I played around with Fireworks tonight. I modified the leaf car to reflect the new Prius shape.

Re: Time for the PriusChat T-Shirt! Come give your feedback

Most of the stuff I got was from all over the net. I think Toyota probably copyrighted all of it including the start button but I doubt they would say anything as this is free advertisement. Unless we pick something really controversial or hideous. :p

The E is not necessarily that low. If they did not want to do text/pic across the shoulders but wanted the center logo in the middle with text on the bottom then the whole back would be moved up. (I was thinking that the C and E were elongated and the D was more square shaped)

I like Godiva's design. Although the placement of the tomorrow's saying throws me off. Maybe if it is centered above or below the leafy car in one line or replace it with the big priuschat on the back and do

    Tomorrow's car
    ...[leafy car]
    ......Today

    or

    Tomorrow's
    car
    [leafy car]
    .........Today

(had to use . as placeholder for spaces)

The power button is easy. Just to out and take a picture of the power button on your own car and then modify it with photoshop. No problem. I even considered taking the "power" off the middle and putting "chat" in it's place but didn't want to take the time and it was a bit redundant.

I did manipulate the leafy car quite a bit, but again, you can take a picture of a real leaf then then cookie cutter out the current Prius shape. Or you can even draw a the leaf and veins from scratch and do it. I just wasn't going to go out with my camera at 2 am to take pictures of the power button and look for leaves in the dark.

I think it would be better to use original art rather than second guess what Toyota would or would not allow. You can try contacting them but even if you get a reply it will probably be a form letter no.

I agree Godiva. Plus I like your new leafy car version anyways. As for the white powder I am not sure. I think it is just shading. I grabbed it off a Prius Ad poster.

godiva can you attach your prius leaf. I would like to see if it can be embroidered on my dashmat.

Yes. But it's not very clean. I did a quick and dirty mod with Fireworks but if I were going to use it or the powerbutton as "ready art" I'd redo them and clean them up.

I've had to change a t-shirt design before because of corporate identity. I suggest you avoid the "Power" button or make it look significantly different. I have also seen the power button on official Toyota shirts at my local dealership, so they are obviously using it.

How about this as a catch phrase:

Here's something a little more traditional.
