My go-to tire pressure gauge is one I'm pretty sure reads 3 psi high. At least it's 3 psi higher than the rest of my motley collection. But it's easy to read, and easy to seat on the valve stem. So I taped masking tape to it with a note about it being 3 lb high.

Too, with tire pressures, deadly accuracy is not mandatory (or even possible); consistency is at least as important. A pound or two variation is relatively trivial.

I was a draftsman, then a checker, for decades. You grow to understand that the degree of accuracy varies, and it's worthwhile to keep perspective, understand the applicable tolerances.

Agreed with all said. Except, you need a better tire-pressure gauge. LOL
