Sounds like the answer to every waxer''s dream!! Dries in a minute, easy to wipe off and none of the "you missed a spot white residue" that just glares at you two days later. I'm gonna try it.

Probably not as clear on dark paint. Maybe it's just my blizzard Pearl paint? It was not as clear when I applied it to the black dashboard trim. It dried with a haze.

The Meguiar's I was using also was good... maybe a bit easier to wipe off than the Turtle Wax. But for some odd reason, flies loved landing on the Meguiar's.

I like that Turtle Wax "Ice" car wax so much, now I'm going to try their car wash soap. "Supreme Shine, and Eco Friendly." ;)

They bought 2001 NU finish and rebranded it. That is what I use and have used for years. Teenage Ninja Turtle products are good and cost effective. You get what you pay for/sort of like buying tires although the Pirellis have my eye for the Dodge van.

I remember Turtle Wax 44 years ago , when I was in high school. Paste wax in a round green can. Hard to apply and hard to wipe off. Not a lot of choices back then.

Now days, you can pick up any brand of liquid wax and it's very easy to use. They make it easy for us old guys. ;)

Trying to use up the last of the dealer sealant before switching to 2001 again. He gave me two bottles and both cars have been waxed 3 times.

Nu Finish Car Wax - Walmart.com

Think Turtle bought the rights to the name 2001.

    2001 wax - Google Search

BTW/ Dealer $500 stuff looks, smells, feels, and tastes like the original 2001 NU finish.

If you drink it, it will prevent ulcers.

Yeah, they tried to sell me one of those $500 wax jobs. "But it lasts a WHOLE YEAR" he said.

I told him: "I'm retired. I got all the time in the world to wax my car! And that 500 clams will buy me a lot of pizza!"

I started using "Sonax Polymer Net Shield" a couple years ago and really like the stuff.

I go for durability over everything else and this has been the longest lasting product I have used. Really easy to apply as well.

I haven't even contemplated wax'ing yet, let alone washing my silver 2016 Prius... It's been over a month...

I really have not washed it once yet and from a few feet away it looks just fine

Yeah of course a wash n wax will make her look better but darn if silver is not the very best color to not show dirt! It's amazing!!(y)

I know I was promoting the liquid glass stuff of which I still have a couple canister of the stuff and I just might wash her up this weekend finally and throw on a couple coats of the stuff.

My Camry was a similar color, and it rarely showed dirt. But I still washed & waxed frequently because I'm nuts. :D (And it's always out in the hot sun.)

And I'm ready to do the Prius again... I'm getting that itch! :ROFLMAO:

Have that on bluray, should watch it again. Saw it at the Vancouver Orpheum in what, '67? Never forget that.

Used Turtle Wax Ice this morning while it was relatively cool. Easy to put on and wipe off. Thanks for the tip...
