    It's available now. Think I'll wait for comparison reviews and/or a price drop.

    I agree with this blogger that stand alone GPS is now dead:

    TomTom has also confirmed that the coming TomTom car kit will (i) work with ipod touch and (ii) include its own faster, more accurate GPS chip:

    Ditto. Price is too high considering I can already do directions on my Iphone (not as well) or I could buy an entire TomTom GPS used for about the same price.

    At $49 I might buy it.
