Took v over scale.

    I drove our v over the Gov scale to see the weight here is what I found.
    Front axle... 950 kg.........2090 lbs
    rear axle......660 kg..........1452 lbs
    That was with 3/4 tank of gas and only me in drivers seat and seat slid back.
    That shows the v is front heavy by axle, I did not check each tire weight side to side. Next time I will get each individual tire to see how the car is balanced (or unbalanced)
    I am thinking if weight is off side to side the tire pressure could be adjusted for each tire for best handleing and gas milage.

    Is the total weight of the car the combo of the two weights? 3542 lbs?

    Makes sense. Weight is approximately 60/40% front/rear.

    Well the v is rated at 3273lbs so it's a difference of 269lbs. I don't think the OP weighs that much so I'm guessing there's a bit of overlap where the weighting is involved.

    Yes. I assume the weight difference from spec is due to the OP's weight, vehicle fluids, misc stuff like carpet mats, etc.

    Q: Does the vehicle weight listed on the official specs include fuel? I can see oil, coolant, and other fluids that don't change as you drive.

    The curb weight is the amount it weighs when it is parked and empty. Passengers, cargo, fluids, and other items are not included in this weight.

    Had a chance to go over the scale again,
    With my wife and two golden retrievers in the back...no the wife was in the pass seat.
    Front total 2156lbs lf 1076lbs rf 1080lbs.
    Total rear 1650lbs lr924lbs rr726lbs
    So the front is almost equal side to side, but the drivers left rear is a little heavier compaired to the right
    I am not sure where my two dogs were laying in relationship the weight.
    Oh yea I also had a full tank of gas this time.

    I believe the curb weight does include fluids and a full tank of fuel.
