I was not sure if it was very good due to fact its not alot of TOTAL MILES accumulated. I think for me though, this has been one of my best months. Winter it falls right off due to temps, but these warm temps really push the EV range way up for me.

Great job! Yep! best month so far keep it up. Yeah! Winter is a real drag on EV as well as HV. Enjoy the warm weather as long as it last. Hopefully it will be a shorter winter than last year! :)

Retired4999's post shows its possible to get 14-15,000 miles on a single tank.
I'm assuming the 1 gallon shown is actually 1.5 given the 93 gas miles
and guess you'd have to drive a lot given the 6 month old gas countdown but possible...

    here's an updated one :
    http://i1329.photobucket.com/albums/w545/golfx15/photo_zps99a5205a.jpg

I have to say that even though it moves me up a spot the downside is now I'm next to Retired4999 on The List and feeling rather inferior... I will say that mine is lifetime and still first tank so some qualities here

also - I was thinking - first tank is now 4 1/2 months old so less than the "old gas" problem BUT
since it is my first tank I'm wondering how old that gas really is... Maybe I should get that fill-up ?
    thoughts ?

Nice! I'm curious what the driving pattern is like for the top 5 folks on the list.

For instance, typical daily driving distance, plugin charging opportunities and amount charged during the day, typical speed driven under EV and also HV.

I agree with You, your lifetime tank is much harder to do then my short tank and you deserve a big attaboy! So here ya! go Attaboy! :p
I'm really serious, that is a great job! WOW!

Do not fill yet, your ok for awhile. I would go another 2 months.

Now that I think about it. Yes fill-up NOW! Hurry Hurry Hurry!

I charge all day every day, no highways.
My numbers suffered compared to The Champ because I had 5-6 longer trips to Boston and Providence. Those probably won't happen next tank.

I will add that I hit reset and started a Trip B and Retired4999 will never be touched. Guessing its very flat where he drives (its not here) because after 210 miles at 99% EV my MPGe can't match his.
If I keep it up for another 790 miles I can maybe exceed 150MPGe but no better

Wait - are you aiming for my one tank mark ?
You promised a long trip in August !

I'm just concerned about being at one gallon and having it be god knows how old.
They topped me off on Mar 24th but that was just a gallon at best

    Almost got ya! Ha!Ha!Ha!
I do have a trip on August 29 for a couple of day's
Yeah! I filled on April 5, But of course I will be filling on my trip!
Do no worry about that gallon being old, you mixed it with plenty of new.
Everyone will be catching me by winter time, trips for thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter, a couple of family gatherings and probably things I don't even know about yet. :)

    Updated!

42k...I think it would be wise to fill up right away. Since you have never filled up yet and the dealer only put a gallon in that tank could have sat on the lot for a few months before you bought it. Just look into when it arrived on the lot.

Also...I think a guy named 3PriusMike fits better in the 3rd spot anyway. ;)

What are your city driving conditions like -- typical speed, frequency of stops? What are the roads like generally -- suburban vs. inner city vs. rural roads?

My typical daily driving distance round trip 6-15 miles, some days two charges 30 miles, a very rare 3 charge. I live just on edge of town Doctors, dentists, motels, grocery store, night clubs, fast food, hospitals every thing you can think of is with-in about 3-4 miles one way trip, max of 6-7 one way.

I try to lump together my trips if i can to maximize my EV miles. Plug-in at home always! If you look at my current tank I have 2100 miles driven at a slow 20 mph.

Most day's In the summer I charge about 16-19 EV miles for each single charge, winter time 12-14 EV.

I have one small hill to go down, then up the other side, then the reverse to get back home, other than that it is pretty flat. Some roads 25mph most of the roads are 30-35 mph, some 45 mph, no interstate.

I just noticed you only have about 1/2 gallon or so of gas left.
Fill now! Hurry before the rest evaporates!

I'm on my way now, your post makes sense - but I feel so dirty buying gas ;-)
only reason I know what side its on is because I charge on the opposite

not a real city, west of Boston so some lights, stop signs. Shopping done in busier larger town...
It is hilly though, school sports teams named The Hillers
Rarely have I gone on the interstate so probably driving 35-45 mph on faster portions.
most driving done in 7-13 mile portions with charging available

I took several long trips in July...and I'm now reset and ready to beat my lowly (3rd place) showing that was from last winter. I've already got 150 miles of 100% EV! And no long trips planned.

You really need to go on a long trip and use up some gas to protect your car (kidding)
