Touchscreen not working

    I have a 2008 Prius and the battery died since i jump started the touchscreen will not come on. I have checked all the fuses inside and out. Any ideas

    does it have 12v at the back?
    sometimes a board will crash when voltage is reapplied. i think you can pick one up on ebay

    It is very unusual for the MFD (multi-function display) to fail in these circumstances. Maybe the OP means instrument cluster known as the CM (combination meter). This the one with the gear selector display, the speedometer, and odometer, among others.

    If that is the case some reasonable DIY solutions that are significantly cheaper and quicker than the Toyota fix which will take about 2 weeks and cost ~$800 - $1,000.
