Touring or no touring? Which Pkg? HELP

I'd recommend you NOT BUY a Touring #6 because I'm on the waiting list for my second one, and if the demand decreases I can get what I want when I want it.

 

Hello fellow Prius owners.
I've had my Prius since mid August 2007. It is a great car to drive and not having to fill it up with gasoline very often.

Recently in my readings about cars, I have been seeing references to "Prius Touring." What is the differences between the touring model and the standard version?

No such distinction was or has ever been mentioned in literature or in ads in this region.

My borther-in-law bought a Prius in a southern state 8 months before I did. We often compare our statistics. I noticed one day, when both cars were in the driveway, that my car is longer by 6" and wider by 3" than his. Is this the Touring differentiation?
