Toyota’s EV Future?

    LOL. Tesla owners are paying more than $50k for a vehicle that is the most unreliable car sold in America. Rattles, electronic control module failures, huge repair bills outside of warranty. I would not own a Tesla outside of warranty if they gave it to me for free.

    Toyota will only deliver a true EV if it can meet their legendary reliability standards. They are not a German manufacturer that early adopts unproven or cutting edge technology only to screw over the customer 2 years later like BMW did multiple times in the 3 series over the last decade (ABS module failures, HPFP recall, etc).

    It is worth reading the thread.

    It made me appreciate Prius Chat. Our forum is so much better in every respect.

    I thought Tesla was on the cutting edge, but the Tesla forum is really primitive.

    People’s opinions are interesting, but not always uplifting.

    A fair amount of snobbishness.
