Pernicious prose posing as portentous Prius poetry.

    Perhaps.

Not pedantic, palpably pretentious, or pandering, please.

Wouldn't it be a "battery of prii?" Or is that reserved for the Prii PHEVs due next year?

I proposed a pod, repeating previous posters. Dplatnyc posited the more prosaic (but perfectly apropros) battery, I opine both possibilities are preferred over preserving the Prius pretender Sikes surname, but I am a pacifist to public opinion.

A puzzling position. Perhaps his posterior was upon a perch?
Presently, is Peter perched on a porch as he ponders poster's proposals?

Poised, perchance planted upon his prodigious posterior?

Did you guys see this crazy Toyota Video? It's "unlisted" and only viewable with a direct link or from the page listed above. Only 45 views since last month too!

It appears the debate is far from over. I wonder how this sounds in different languages.

Prii appears to be Prii in all languages; however the accent when pronounced differs from lanuage to language. Go here, change the destination language (and be sure to click the "translate" button each time), and click on the "Listen" button: Google Translate
    :)

WHOA!!!! Check out the Japanese pronunciation of "Prii" : Google Translate
well.... I guess this is how we should be saying it from now on. :D

Funny that you say "ending debate". You obviously don't understand the members of this forum! ;)

Obviously. Even threads dead and buried years ago seem to mysteriously come back to life, and we're right back into it. ;)

I will say Priuses as it is far clearer and requires no knowledge of the recipient about Toyota's sense of power of the the english language.

    I demand a recount!!!

Really? 1% separates the first and second place?

    FYI, I prefer Prius.
