Can I please have one of the test mules now that Toyota have finished with them?
I'd love to look after it for them and drive it to work and back every day.

Are those prices for the automobile application?
If yes, would you please let us know the pointers for the pricing?

Yes, there are several Chinese companies selling (or trying to sell) LiFePO4 for around $300 per kWh to the automotive markets, BYD being the most prominent one making it for their own cars and now for VW etc.

In the USA, you can buy replacement (upgrade) LiIon battery packs for the Toyota RAV4 EV for about $352 per kWh. See the post by James here: Electric Vehicle Bashing WaPo - Page 3 - Tesla Motors Club Forum , although he says he buys them in for less than this.

    Thank you for the pointer.
How about the pointer about $500/kWh of NiMH?

Basically in the entire time Chevron/Texaco has owned this patent they have just sat on it. They have not been friendly to anyone wanting to use and even pay them money.

Not only that, without a point of reference for reliability, extreme hot/cold discharge/recharge, number of cycles, etc, those figures are even more skewed.
Meanwhile, 100's nearly 10 year old RAV4-ev's (in some cases) with large formated nickel metal hydride Panasonic EV batteries are still being pushed down the road.
