    Well, some regions like in the southeast it is very rare to find a Prius Prime sitting in stock. In fact, back in January when we went to a vary large dealership, not only did they not have even one Prime in stock but they checked the entire southeast region and in the entire region at that time they could only find one 2020 Prius Prime XLE but it was in blizzard white and we wanted magnetism blue so we had to do a factory order. The 90-120 day wait is not a problem for us as we were not in a hurry and the wait allows us to have a bigger down payment when it does arrive.

    Well he's in a different country for starters.

    Also, American dealers work differently from other countries. The US typically keeps stock because buyers want to walk in, choose the car and walk out.

    Other countries typically have less space to store large inventory and also, people are willing to wait to order the exact car they want (and helps reduce dealer overhead by not keeping so many vehicles in stock).
