Toyota missed the mark for North America

    Don't feel guilty, even a domestic nameplate can be foreign made. A Toyota Camry made in the USA is likely just as if not more American than a Ford Fiesta.

    Besides I have no qualms buying something just because it is Made in the USA. I'll even pay more for it. But like you, I will not patronize mediocrity. By buying a Prius, I'm voting with my dollars that Americans need to turn up their competition. Hopefully, GM has answered with a Volt.

    I don't think it matters where it's made but where it was initially designed. iPhone is designed in the US but made in China. Besides, cars are assembled in the US not made in the US from scratch.
