Oh. I'm so sorry. I know how you feel. It has to arrive any day, and when it does you will spend 5 hours just driving it like I did today. When you least expect it you will get a call, that's what happened to me. On a lighter side, I was with friends tonight, and they were making fun if me cause I got a Prius, when I said its a plugin, they were interested and took it for a drive. They were like. This us cool, from the quiet engine to the swooshing sound of the car in low speeds. After the ride, my friend who has a 380zx, was like. I like it. It's different. Anyway. That was my first day.
Dont. I got lucky. I felt your pain yesterday. You have to get your car tomorrow or Saturday. Please keep us posted.
...And thus page 69 of this enthralling tale unfolds, yet hang tight avid readers, because the most enthralling bits are being set in place in toyohashi, portland, and other environs sprawled atop the high seas! Let's return to this epic thread, shall we, and see what happens to the pluggers who're as of yet to plug their plug-ins in! op2:
As we return to our story the Pyxis is out of dry dock, completed its sea trials and has set sail for Canada with its load of new Toyota's. But will it continue on to Portland? Stay tuned for the next exciting chapter of PRIUS SHIP TRACKING.
My experience so far in Southern California (LA/OC area): Toyota dealer said my PIP order is @ #2,400-ish (I asked). 3/23 recv'd email that it was built, 3/28 recv'd email said it was on the ship to port, dealer called 4/19 said it arrived LA/LB harbor (Guess it was on Pyxis Leader) and made appt to pick up on Monday 4/23. Our solar panels and newly installed Leviton charger can not wait to all hang out together and talk shit about stinky old gas stations. "I'd put my money on the sun and solar energy. What a source of power! I hope we don't have to wait till oil and coal run out before we tackle that." - Thomas Edison

TEXAS HIGHWAY is offshore, should hit the Golden Gate midafternoon and dock in BENICIA tonight (April 21).
OK, this isn't going to be the most impressive photo. But for those with an interest in the Texas Highway, it is those three streaks of white lights passing under the Richmond-San Rafael Bridge about 15 minutes ago. Should be in Benicia by midnight. :welcome: Take my PIP off first, please. It's the Clearwater Blue Advanced.
No, bilofsky! They should unload mine first because it has 1300 mile journey to get to my home after it gets to Putnam Toyota in Burlingame.
It'll probably be on the same truck to Putnam as mine. Are you driving it the rest of the way? FedEx?
I am flying into SFO on April 30 and will start my drive to Denver area after taking delivery that day.
^^^ That's pretty impressive. I was going to take delivery in Palo Alto and drive about 900 miles to Tucson, but ran into a goof up the dealer. You should PM F8L or The Critic to see if they can give you some pointers on how to get the car back home with minimal signs of a long journey. Both of those guys were great in offering assistance to me.
My pip is finally in at dealer. Drove to Lakewood New York today and staying in local motel because there is a winter storm warning for Lakewood 8+ inches of snow starting tonight and ending tuesday at 5pm
