    Thank you!

Another question, if i am looking for a prius that has steer by wire brake by wire and electronic throttle; which models and manufacture date I should look into?

I have not heard that there has ever been a steer by wire. The power assist is by way of an electric motor though, if that's what you mean. But even so, technically, it is still mechanical.

There is no difference in design between the Gen 2 2008 and gen 2 2009.

PS, not sure where in the world is your Alexandria, but if it is in Egypt, it may be possible that a 2009 is a Gen 3, depending on the country from where it was imported. But in any case, the information still applies to a Gen 3 2009.

PPS. Reading another thread just brought to mind IPA (Intelligent Park Assist) where the steering is controlled by computer to park the car. It is an option, that not a lot of people took, so it may be hard to find. Not sure if that qualifies as steer by wire, though, but I guess it is close.

It is in Egypt, you are right however; people manage a way to control the steering motor and faking the vehicle speed and the torque sensor, at least it is doable in prius 2006.

    What about the brakes?

2006-2009 Gen 2 are all the same, so they should work across the years, so long as they have the correct options and corresponding ECUs.

Good luck with your endeavors, and if you wouldn't mind, keeping us informed of your progress.

Many here will find it interesting.
