Could it be from something inside the vehicle in the cup holder that causes the noise?

the brake pulsation when breaking could be from your brakes.

This is all just guess's since we’re not there. If you’re concern, just get a shop to diagnose it.

Hi George, what was done to the 2011 Prius to fix pulsing brake problem?
Mine has exactly the same issue.

 

I finally got code C1391 abnormal leak in accumulator. I have a relative who works for Toyota and told me the abs module and actuator must be replaced as a unit.
The part can be purchased for about $600 not for a diy job. Must use a scanner to bleed system. By the way, if you have a scanner capable of resetting abs codes you can do that, brakes will work as normal for as long it takes the the computer to turn the abs lights on again.
