Toyota Prius coolant leak.

    please help to sue Toyota.

    Toyota Prius, Coolant slowly leaks into the cylinder as the car sits due to a leaking head gasket, the car misfires at startup.
    Right now Toyota There has been no bulletin for the head gasket issue, no updated intake manifold released for the condition, and no further indication of any investigation.
    So, for now, it looks like the issue is dead,
    The only solution dealer have is get used Engine!!!

    In November I got rid of my Prius v last month because it started using oil and I was afraid of this happening to me. Unfortunately this is much to common with these cars.

    Please keep us updated. Someone needs to make Toyota deal with this problem

    There is lot of people that got this problem the worst Toyota Technician they don’t know.
    They told me get used Engine.
    170000 mileage.

    My sistsrs 2010 prius had this same problem at 190,000 miles. We replaced the engine. It drank oil and coolant like a drunk salor.

    Just wondering...2014 model year. 170,000miles. Did Toyota fail to meet their warranty obligations as explained when the car was purchased? What makes a law suit a valid option?

    Guys in California told me they are thinking to get a lawyer, they are sueing Apple why not Toyota.

    If the car lasted 200,000 miles PAST the warranty period, would you send Toyota a check for $20,000?

    I'm not trying to be a jerk, just trying to point out that mechanical things fail. Warranties are provided but sometimes things fail after a warranty expires. It stinks, but sometimes repairs have to be made. You're at 170k miles. It's not like it failed 5 miles after the warranty expired.

    My experience with California (only lived there for a year) is that it was the first place I ever lived that had more lawyer commercials on TV than regular TV shows. It was the first time I ever saw lawyer commercials on tv. I'm sure California (and every other state now) has attorney's that would sue their mother if they could make a nickel from it.

    My brother in law just got rid of a 2011 Audi that drank a quart of oil every 600 miles:eek:.

    He did everything to quell it including expensive overhauls at the dealer to no avail:(.

    Should he sue Audi for it, or move on?

    He moved onto a Camry (y),
