Toyota Prius Paint Codes and Brochures

    Thanks for posting that.
    I am so disappointed in the fact that they will only have a dark blue color. If you go to the web site for the new prius, the blue one there looks more like the Seaside Pearl than Blue Ribbon Pearl.
    I guess I'll have to wait till 2012 - 2013 when the new blue will probably come out.:(

    In person I had the following color impressions:

    The New Blue Ribbon Metallic is MUCH darker than seaside, and metallic. Probably similar to Spectra Blue if not a tad darker. Lighting made that hard to judge.

    Sandy Beach is lighter than the current Driftwood Pearl.

    Winter Gray is lighter and somewhat more muted than the Magnetic Gray.

    Blue Ribbon is a current Camry color, if anyone wants to see it in person. Too close to Navy for my taste, though it shines up real pretty. I'd like to see the new sandy color in person, but I'm not aware of any current cars using it, unless I've missed something.

    Blizzard Pearl (070)
    Blue Ribbon Metallic (8T5)
    Classic Silver Metallic (1F7)
    Clear Sky Metallic (???)
    Magnetic Gray Metallic (1G3)

    Still looking for the paint code for Clear Sky Metallic and for the chassis code.

    np. Although Mark (Paradox) just informed me that the US Prius v Product Information Sheet says Clear Sky Metallic like you originally said. It's possible that Clear Stream is the name in Japan and Clear Sky for North America. My apologies!

    Looks like there is a little color shakeup for the 2012 models.
    Nautical Blue Metallic replaces the old Blue Ribbon Metallic
    Sea Glass Pearl replaces the old Sandy Beach Metallic
    And the Plug-In Prius gets the exclusive Clearwater Blue Metallic
