They certainly tried ah la their EV-Bolt. Likely thing is, their EV cannibalized some sales that might have otherwise gone to their plugin Volt.
I don't have the count in front of me, but add GM's EV Bolt & plugin Volt sales together, versus Toyota's PHEV only (no ev available) ... and what does that look like. Just curious.

According to the article more Bolts were sold than Volts. The Bolt number was also larger than Prime sales.

    From Green Car Reports.

"As for the handful of other high-volume plug-in cars, the Chevrolet Bolt EV ended the year with a bang. Its December deliveries of 3,227 gave it a 2017 total of 23,297.

While that's not the highest reported sales total for any month—in December 2016, its Volt stablemate hit 3,691—it's the highest total for any plug-in car in only its 13th month on sale.

Moreover, it suggests a plausible monthly sales average this year of 2,500 to 3,000 Bolts a month, or about 30,000 a year That's likely close to the Model S total, which of course we don't know."

Bolt EV is a great car, but does not have adaptive cruise control. $39k base price and size of it, ouch.
Come on Tesla, ramp up that model 3. Gas sucks.

I don't fit in either Prime or Volt, not an option.

Every should throw Tideland Prius a "like" on this thread just for the fun of it. He is always there for us.

Let's face it, while not for everyone (4 seater etc), the Prime is a nice vehicle at right price and it seems to be pulling in folks who never owned Prii, more so than PiP perhaps.

Whaa? I didn't do anything other than post the news :) But thanks for the shout out! I appreciate it.

I'm gonna give you a "Like" too. An extra one for doing the extra legwork on figuring out the "true" cargo capacity of the 4th gen.
