    after reading all your posts,I am willing to make a bet that your transmission MG2 motor is burned up.. If you just drained the trans oil how did it look? and also did it smell burned?? keep us posted ...

    the transoil was pure pink, im guessing the previous owner changed it? Lol. and im still waiting for the MINI VCI. :)

    The coolant and transaxle drain plug are close together. Easy to confuse as I did the first time.

    i actually opened both, the coolant is thin and the transaxle fluid is thick.

    nope not yet, man they are expensive. but id like to figure out the problem FIRST anyways. but im going to get it, i just dont want my dad spending that much on me lol. i dont like to spend his money.

    I fully understand! I am the oldest of five brothers and when I went to college, I did everything I could to avoid putting any financial burden on my family. But that was nearly 45 years ago.

    Let me suggest an alternative. Use the Toyota TIS service which can be bought by the day. I haven't used it but others have and seem to have gotten what they needed. With the scanner, you'll be able to quickly jot down all of the codes; share them on the forum (folks will be happy to look them up), and; if we're a little slow, go to the TIS source for more details on your schedule.

    You'll get there!

    mmmm well its not that hes financially unstable, he makes alot of money everyday but i just dont liek taking money out of his pocket. but im getting the manual still.

    ok thanks. i contacted them through skype they told me it arrived on may3 . its at the office i needa pick it up lol -_-. didnt know i had to pick it up. im going to get it tomorrow
