A lot of new cars for the US market tend to get introduced at the Detroit aka North American International Auto Show and not the LA auto show, foreign or not.

The Detroit show is traditionally "The Big Event." It's the place where everyone meets and shows off. All the big auto execs and important people attend Detroit. It's analogous to the CES. It's THE event.

The cylinders meet at the halfway point, rather than at the base lol.

If Toyota is going to be revealing two new Prius models in January - I think we can be very confident that the Prius v will be one of them - then how come we haven't heard more about the previously announced Prius c ? Not even one teaser image?

Thank you, I was rather perplexed about this. I haven't slept trying to work it out.
Would that be an in-line X6? Maybe a typo?

Notice the two tone colors? Rear seats are darker shade. Why is the center of the cargo cover darker shade? Would it flip out to reveal two additional seats?

Any chance of them making a compact sedan type prius a-la the Gen 1? Heck, a hybrid corolla would be cool...also i know the FT-86 is coming out soon and its supposed to be naturally aspirated, what if they made a trd/ xrs edition that had an electric motor instead of a turbocharger?

I was just playing on with your statement. It's just a joke.

I think just X6 works... they just went with W8 went they paired two V4s side-by-side to make a W shape instead of inline and creating a V8

Yeah... what you do with your RAV4 stays in the garage. =)

And I was just keeping the joke alive. Well I thought I was. Is this a serious subject?

I'm waiting for my invite but Toyota have left their run a little late this time I fear.

That's exactly what you don't want - at low to moderate throttle the Atkinson cycle has lower pumping losses (higher efficiency) than Otto mode. You achieve the low throttle setting by using the valves instead of the throttle plate.

The pumping losses of the Otto cycle are low at high throttle but if you have set the CR for Atkinson mode then it is too high use Otto cycle mode.
